Hello one and all! Today I was really inspired by this picture:
Well, mainly just her makeup, even though the rest of this lady is so cute I think I might pass out. (I found this image off of tumblr but I couldn't find the original source or who this girl is!)
So from this, I just knew I MUST own a tube of black lipstick because being a lipstick hoarder, it seemed silly that I didn't own a tube. I went to MAC, knowing they had their "Punk Couture" line, with black lipstick included (LOOK HOW GORGEOUS THESE LIPSTICKS ARE I CAN'T EVEN UGH)
But alas, they were all sold out in like one second they were put out. I was so discouraged because Halloween is a million years away, so I thought there was no way I couldn't get a tube without ordering online, and ordering online to Hawaii sometimes isn't even worth it with the shipping! BUUUT, I went into longs today and found a NYX black lipliner for like $4! (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) So I present to you,

I decided to mesh two opposite looks together to create a cohesive look! I went really light on the rest of my makeup just because my lips were crazy dark and the focus of this look. I also went really girly with the sunflower dress and the curly hair, but added my black combat boots to give the edgy feel to go along with the lipstick. I'm so excited about this lipstick (well really lipliner but whatever) and this dress!
Okay, to explain my title, I was at work today and this older gentlemen, while buying underwear for his valentine, asked if my lipstick tasted like licorice. Already really uncomfortable, I sternly said no. He then proceeded to tell me he wish it did and was having a little daydream about it. I then looked him straight in the eye and said, "that was really inappropriate." He then became extremely uncomfortable and angry and stormed out with this purchases. The fact that he got angry because I called him out on his inappropriate behavior shows how stupid the way society works. Women shouldn't have to laugh and go along with unwanted male comments. In conclusion, if some creep comes up to you at the bus stop and says, "smile for me baby" or some guy behind you in the grocery line gets too close for comfort and makes an inappropriate comment about your breasts, tell them to literally shove it up so far that they pass out. ~dismantling the patriarchy one sassy hair flip at a time~
