Keep Ya Head Up

Hi! I've missed this so much! Working two jobs and going to school is always handful, plus it's been down pouring this week so there hasn't been a good time or place to take pictures. Also when you have an 8:30am class, you kind of just roll out of bed at 8 and leave ten minutes later.

This week I've been inspired by Forever 21's Hip Hop graphic tee line. They have had so many cute shirts and I'm trying really hard not to buy all of them!

I love being comfy but also able to feel cute and confident when going to school to one job to another. Also, I'm so in love with with retro cat eye trend with sunglasses! It's like the best of both worlds.

Totally real Givenchy sweaters and rebel school girls.

Hello one and all! This past season I have been absolutely obsessed with Givenchy's Fall 2013 RTW line and have been drooling over it endlessly.

Miley buns, really cute friends, and more Mellow Yellow Jewelry!

Hello all you beautiful people! I've been wanting to update for SO LONG but i just haven't had the time! School started this week and I got a second job so I'm always busy, but I love this blog too much so I couldn't NOT post!

This week I was really inspired by Miley Cyrus this week because you can say as much crap as you want, but she is just so damn cute. Specifically, I was inspired by her little buns and her daisy chain necklace at the iheartradio musical festival this past summer.

Soooooooooo, I decided to try them out!

Shirt, boyfriend jeans, boots, and purse are all from Forever 21.

These boyfriend jeans are my favorite jeans ever! They're so cute and rough around the edges, but have  a girly feel. I love these boots more than anything in the whole world and I got them for only $20!!

You can't really tell, but my necklace is a regular gold chain with daisies all on it!

ALSO, one of my really good friends at work wore the absolute cutest outfit today and I couldn't even bear how cute she was so I had to show you all. 

Her hat, crop top, and pants, are all from Forever 21. 

This little cutie also MADE her necklace!!

God look that criss cross. SO CUTE.

So much jewelry, so little money.

So today was the day of the Mellow Yellow Photo shoot and it was absolutely fantastic! Samantha Feyen is crazy talented and beautiful photographer, and Kerri, the designer and creator of Mellow Yellow Jewelry, is amazingly talented at making beautiful pieces. I am so honored to be apart of such a beautiful thing! I was shopping around the mall today and i found the most gorgeous headpiece at Icing! I've always wanted to get into headpieces, and this one was just calling out to me so i had to get it!

I just want to be a Pink Lady.

Okay, I'm trying to get better at updating this thing! Not much has been happening lately. I've been sick so I've been home from work, so I haven't been out and about that much to dress up! Tonight a couple friends and I went out for dinner, so I finally got an opportunity to test out my new/old denim jacket! I tried to go for night out look, but dress it down because we went to the "hippie" part of town. 

I wore a black turtle neck, sleeveless onesie with a black lace overly skirt all from Forever 21. The Denim jacket, the boots, and the necklace are all from Forever 21 as well. I couldn't get a really good picture of my outfit because it was already too dark outside for any good lighting. My dad actually took these photos of me in our living room after I got back. (Insert sunglasses emoji). 

I just wore the denim jacket over my outfit because i wanted to have the pink lady feel, and I didn't want the jacket to make me look too bulky. I felt almost like a James Dean-esque cowgirl. Who knows anymore. I know I love all black, denim, and a good red lipstick. 

Also, this photo is just too funny NOT to share. It was at the beginning of our super mini photo shoot in our living room and we were trying to find the best lighting. This is how I was feeling. Also you can kind of see the skirt better?

Also you now understand how actually wearing the jacket was a little too bulky for this look. 

I have the day off tomorrow so i'm planning on finishing my gold lace overlay dress that I've been working on for a while. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow! I also have a photo shoot for Mellow Yellow Jewelry on friday which I am so excited for! Here is the link to her Etsy store!

Hello 2014 and this New Year of Fashion Blogging

Just a little introduction:
Hi! My name is Julianna and I'm a 19-year-old girl currently living in Hawaii. I am a Fashion Technology Major and have a love affair with fashion. I make my own clothes (hope to be designing clothes soon), love the clothes I buy, love other people's clothes, love make-up, love nail art, and every thing in between.
